At Design Huddle, we’re always looking ahead to what’s next for modern creative production. And right now, one shift is impossible to ignore: AI is changing more than how creative content gets made. It’s transforming how creative workflows are built, connected, personalized, and automated.
That’s why we’re excited to introduce the Design Huddle AI Suite, an expansion of our existing AI Creative Tools that brings AI deeper into the creative workflows customers already use. The suite includes our new Design Huddle Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server and Design Huddle Agent Skills, as well as the upcoming Design Huddle Agent.

AI Creative Tools
Make creating, editing & refining content easier directly in the editor.
Together, these capabilities expand AI across the entire creative production experience—from generating and editing content with AI Creative Tools, to helping developers build Design Huddle integrations with Agent Skills. They also enable AI to manage templates and automate workflows through MCP and, soon, to ask questions or take action directly through the Design Huddle Agent in your portal, Slack, or Teams.
“We’re excited to bring new ways for our customers to streamline creative production and unlock even greater productivity, all within the workflows they already use. The Design Huddle AI Suite gives our customers time back so they can focus on the work that drives their business forward. That’s a win for our customers, and that’s the future we’ll continue building toward.”
— Dave Stewart, CEO, Design Huddle
The result is a more connected, intelligent approach to creative production, making it easier for users, developers, and AI systems to build, manage, and automate creative work in Design Huddle. Here’s a closer look at the new capabilities that make up the Design Huddle AI Suite.
Introducing the Design Huddle MCP Server
Bring AI into creative production.
The new Design Huddle MCP Server brings AI into creative production, giving AI systems the ability to take action within customers’ established creative workflows. From importing and managing templates and updating creative to personalizing content, handling bulk administrative tasks, and automating production workflows, AI can work with the designs and brand systems organizations already have in place.
The MCP Server isn’t intended to generate completely new designs from scratch. Templates continue to define the design and brand framework, while AI helps manage, update, personalize, and automate the work around them. For example, customers can ask an AI system connected to Design Huddle to:
- Import design files from PDF or Adobe Illustrator (.ai)
- Apply a locking profile to control which elements can be edited
- Update text, images, or other elements within existing templates
- Apply tagging to a group of projects
- Update every template in a particular category
- Set or change expiration dates
- Rename templates or update their visibility
- Implement other bulk changes across a template library
These use cases make the MCP Server especially valuable for the operational side of creative production. Instead of manually opening templates, changing settings, or controlling assets one at a time, teams can use natural-language requests to manage and update multiple templates at once. Design Huddle’s MCP Server also enables more customer-facing creative workflows

For example, a real estate professional could ask an AI system:
“Update my social media templates with the photos from my new listing.”
The AI system can use Design Huddle to identify the appropriate templates, replace the relevant images and content, and return updated creative based on the predefined designs.
Design Huddle can update the appropriate templates with the customer’s branding, creating personalized sales materials without having to rebuild the designs from scratch.
Discover Design Huddle Agent Skills
Build and deploy integrations faster with AI.
Design Huddle Agent Skills help developers build creative editing experiences into their websites and applications faster by providing AI coding agents with reusable instructions, context, and implementation guidance. The Agent Skills shorten the path from wanting to add creative capabilities to a product to actually launching a working Design Huddle integration.
For developers building an embedded creative experience, that could mean using an AI coding agent to:
- Embed the Design Huddle editor within an application
- Configure the editor for a particular workflow or use case
- Connect Design Huddle with an existing platform or product
- Implement common Design Huddle APIs and integration patterns
- Follow recommended approaches and best practices when building an integration
Instead of starting with generic documentation and building the implementation from scratch, AI coding agents can use Design Huddle Agent Skills to access more structured, purpose-built guidance throughout the integration process.
Coming soon: The Design Huddle Agent
Go from asking questions to taking action.
The upcoming Design Huddle Agent brings the power of AI directly to customers, making it easier to manage creative production from wherever your team is already working.
The agent draws on Design Huddle’s documentation and connects to the same MCP capabilities available to external AI assistants, so it can answer questions and help execute tasks across the platform. Ask a question, request a change, or kick off a workflow, and the agent can use its product knowledge and platform access to get it done.

For example, a promotional products salesperson could upload a new customer’s logo and ask:
“Apply this logo to our sales deck and show it across the apparel and promotional products we’re recommending.”
Teams can interact with the agent directly in their Design Huddle portal or through tools they already use, such as Slack and Microsoft Teams. The result is a native AI assistant that understands Design Huddle and can streamline everyday creative production tasks, including:
- Answering product and workflow questions
- Managing templates and creative assets
- Making bulk updates across template libraries
- Updating content and platform settings
- Helping execute creative production workflows through natural-language requests
